Sustainable SFU Waste Peers Movie Night on November 19th

Join Sustainable SFU Waste Peers on November 19th for Movie Night and find out how you can get involved in upcoming events and projects! Come to WMC 3250 from 5:30-7:30pm for our feature documentary, “Addicted to Plastic”.  Learn about the adverse outcomes of our reliance on plastic and the effects it has on our environment and on us, in this hilarious and eye-opening documentary.

Meet new people, engage in discussions on how we can reduce waste on campus and in our own lives, and best of all, learn how to get involved with the different Waste projects and grab free snacks!

Sustainable SFU’s Waste Peers are actively promoting projects that work to reduce waste on campus while maintaining a safe and healthy environment around SFU. Waste Peers collaborate on projects such as the Go Green Container Exchange, Freecycle, and other amazing waste projects, and are reaching out to all SFU students to support and encourage sustainable waste management.
