Daniel Pearl World Music Days

We invite you to participate in Daniel Pearl World Music Days, an awareness-raising program with no financial obligation to participate. Musicians simply register their existing or specially planned October performances at danielpearlmusicdays.org and make a dedication from the stage or in the printed program in support of “Harmony for Humanity.” Registration on the Daniel Pearl World Music Days website provides artists the opportunity to promote their music via individual Artist Profile pages, which feature biographical information, photos, videos, links to their websites and social networking profiles. Since its inception in 2002, more than 11,000 performances of all genres in 129 countries have been dedicated to “Harmony for Humanity” and to commemorate the October 10th birthday of journalist/musician Daniel Pearl, the Wall Street Journal South Asia Bureau Chief who was kidnapped and murdered by extremists in Pakistan shortly after 9/11. Danny was a talented musician who joined musical groups in every community he visited.
