Spring 2014 President’s Dream Colloquium on Entrepreneurship
The course will explore how people in diverse social settings empower themselves creatively, socially and economically to improve their own circumstances as well as those of their families and communities. There are six modules:
- Entrepreneurial Thinking Within and Across Contexts
- Financing Entrepreneurship
- Technological Entrepreneurship
- Social Entrepreneurship
- Cultural Entrepreneurship
- Entrepreneurship in Aboriginal Communities
Registration in the course is open to all students at SFU. You will be able to get credit for this very special course towards your university degree.
The faculty organizer is Dr. Eric Gedajlovic, Professor, Beedie School of Business, and he’s keen to get students from a broad range of disciplines around the university — he emphasizes that this isn’t a course about making money, but about entrepreneurship as a way to change the world for the better.
