Alumni Update: Elizabeth Glowacki (Fall 2006)

Elizabeth Glowacki (Fall 2006: First Nations, Inuit, Metis: Traditional Beliefs and Contemporary Challenges) is an emerging metal artist and recent graduate from Kootenay School of the Arts in Nelson, BC. Elizabeth was the recipient of the Circle Craft Student Scholarship award and her work can be seen during the month of February 2013 in Circle Craft Gallery, Granville Island, Vancouver, BC. Liz works in forged steel, cast bronze and cast aluminum, creating sculpture and functional pieces. It was during the Semester in Dialogue that she first tried her hand at sculpture as a means to express her experience.
