Neighbourhood Connections Project looking for dialogue facilitator trainers

Kits House, in collaboration with other project partners on the Westside of Vancouver have begun a new project called the Neighbourhood Connections Project. In a nutshell the project involves the training of approximately 6 Parent Volunteers to conduct outreach in their neighbourhoods. At the end of this outreach the Parent Volunteers will be hosting a dialogue circle with individuals they have connected with through their outreach. There will also be dialogue circles held at a final project celebration in June which the public and all participants of the project will be invited to.

One of the training sessions, to be held in mid-March, that the Volunteers will complete will be on dialogue facilitation. I am wondering if you have any people or resources that might be available to support with this training and perhaps the final celebration in June? Perhaps there are students who are interested in helping with this project?

I would be happy to give you more information and answer any questions you have about the project so please don’t hesitate to ask. I look forward to hearing back from you and having the opportunity to work with SFU on this training.
