Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration Society needs volunteers

The Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration Society is now
recruiting volunteers for the 2012 festival season.  VIBC’s festivals
and events employ dance and rhythms as a beacon to attract disparate
communities and shatter barriers between people.  The festival is a
platform for cultural engagement, collaboration and inclusiveness. The
festival will run from May 31 to June 10 with events across the lower
mainland including festivals in Vancouver, Richmond and Surrey.  We
are looking for help in many areas including: guest services,
volunteer services, event logistics and operations, event set up and
take down, food services, performer services and many more areas.

As a volunteer with VIBC you will get the opportunity to work with a
great group of people, be a part of world class performances, make new
connections and all around have a fun time while supporting arts and
culture. We are committed to providing excellent training and
professional development for all of our volunteers.

If you are interested in volunteering with VIBC please feel free to
contact me, we hope you will join the VIBC team!

Sincerely,

Terra Dickinson
