SFU United Way Book and Bake Sale November 23rd 9:00 to 5:00

DONATE YOUR BOOKS, ETC. TO THE UNITED WAY BOOK SALE!
Yes, it’s that time of year again: time to thin out your overcrowded bookshelves and donate your excess Books (and CDs, DVDs, videotapes etc) to a worthy cause!

The United Way Book & Bake Sale (the 17th annual) is returning to SFU Vancouver!

Where?
The lobby of SFU Harbour Centre, outside the Belzberg Library

When?
Wednesday, November 23rd from 9:00am to 5:00pm

As an avid viewer of “Extreme Hoarders” on HBO you already know the dangers of having too many books. The time to act is NOW, before the Big One hits Vancouver and topples your overloaded shelves, crushing four or five of your twenty-seven beloved cats.

So it you really care about those cats, please take this once-a-year opportunity to clear your bookshelves of your useless first editions, and divest yourself of all those Tuvan throat singing CDs. Drop off your donations to the Belzberg Library during operating hours; professional librarians are standing by, eager to relieve you of all your donated books (& CDs, video tapes and DVDs)

No magazines or encyclopedias please, but all other used books, CDs, video tapes and DVDs are welcomed, and will be put to good use: all money raised at this event will go towards the United Way Campaign.

Wednesday, November 23rd will be here before you know it. So why not get a jump on things and act NOW… The United Way thanks you for your support.

For more information on the United Way Book Sale contact Michael Hayward at (778) 782-5032. Dale Wikaruk (dwikaruk@sfu.ca) will send out a separate message about Bake Sale contributions.
