“We were delighted to host such a fabulous group of people on Saturday at Nelson the Seagull.  It was beautiful to see so many smiles, conversations and connections made over the ‘course’ of the evening.

Picked and Scrumped would not have been possible without each one of you, and we want to specifically thank the wonderful crew that came together to make it all come together as (if we say so ourselves) incredibly as it did.

Thank you to Willem Smit for the amazing graphic work and light installation, Scott Burgess and Claudia Carmen for very slick service and great vibes, Jason and Reed for the unparalleled professional assistance in the kitchen, Kelvin for the spot on cleaning and Judy for bringing so many good folks and generally saving us by rolling ravioli and fetching butter from the valley…  Thanks to Nelson the Seagull for hosting, Tim Tweedale for the melodic steel guitar sounds, ReFind for the donation of a lovely array of lighting, and Olla flowers for the flora accents.  We had some great products that we featured, highlighted by Golden Ears Cheeseworks (think that amazing butter and Neufchatel cheese), Coastal Black Meadery, and all the bounty of incredible produce from an array of local growers.

We have been receiving some wonderful feedback from some of you, and we would always love to hear from you so we can make our next event even better.  We hope to have our next installation in an ongoing series in the new year.  We will make sure to send you the details, and hope you will spread the word to your network of delectable friends.

Until next time,

Chashma & Alexander

We hope you enjoy the photos as much as we have.”
