Late Nite Art event is at Solder and Sons, 247 Main Street, on October 5th @ 8.30 next Wednesday. This is a fun opportunity for people to come together to create art in a collaborative environment. Please distribute widely to your contact lists. A description is included below:
This is an open platform for all non-artists and artists alike to come together. You don’t need to be able to colour within the lines or draw portraits of fruit bowls – you just need your ears, eyes and hands to put your imagination on the page!
Come join us for an exciting and unique evening of collaborative artmaking, music, and discussion at the 4th edition of Late Nite Art, a social art experience. Late Nite Art is a facilitated workshop that encourages you to work in free form. Meet interesting people, have a few drinks, and share thought-provoking discussion on what it means to create in collaboration.
$20 entrance fee includes a beer and art supplies. There will also be some tasty bites prepared featuring the best harvest of local community gardens and BC farms.
Given that we can only accommodate a maximum of 20 people for this tiny venue, we require your confirmation in advance to guarantee a seat. You can register with Eventbrite @ http://lateniteart.eventbrite.com/
Please arrive for the event on time. This is an immersive experience that begins and ends with the same amount of people – no tardies and no early departees!
