The City of Toronto has opened up the call for applications for the 2011/2012 Toronto Urban Fellows program.
The City of Toronto launched this new initiative in 2009 in order to attract new and early career professionals to the Toronto Public Service. After a very successful second year, recruitment is now open for a third cohort of Urban Fellows to start in October 2011.
The Toronto Urban Fellows program provides talented early career professionals with an intensive introduction to the governance, operations and administration of Canada’s largest city through a combination of full-time work experience and participation in a series of seminars, tours and workshops.
The deadline for applying to the program is June 6, 2011.
The primary eligibility criteria is that candidates must have graduated with a post-graduate degree within the past three years. Internationally educated professionals are welcome and encouraged to apply.
