In my time with the program, I have tried to find out how best to support you as you head out into the world. I’ve received a lot of feedback asking for ways to reconnect students with one another, and with specific skills support.
This week, as I mused about the amazing Shift Delivery Co-op and the Engage project, both organized by Dialogue alumni, I was struck by what an incredibly talented group of folks we are. Seriously. It’s about time we start sharing what we know with each other to support our future endeavours. So I created the Skill Share page, or as I call it, Alumni Know Best. Please check it out and think about what you want to contribute.
And I really do encourage you to contribute. A lot of us are way too self-critical and think that we aren’t knowledgeable enough to contribute to a skill share. But I’ve had the great privilege of meeting many of you, and know you are amazing resources on many topics. So let the great share begin!
For an example of a How To package, check out my Forum Guide (on the Skill Share page). If there are specific skills that you would like help developing, post a request in the comments here, or on our facebook page. I’m really excited about what this project can be.
